I've had a great experience at these vets with my cat Luna, she's only little at 7 months and just had her spayed with Maven, she's been well looked after and healing up well very impressed with the 2 day and 10 day check ups also, The vets and nurses we have had contact with have been great, friendly and very knowledgeable and put myself and my partner at complete ease with the operation as I was really nervous! Very glad that we chose Maven on the back of a recommendation from a friend Louise, they have exceeded our expectations. Thank you

READ THIS FIRST....I've had dogs for over 35yrs now and met some great vets and bad ones. Unfortunately I found Maven to just be another money spinner... the staff are lovely and this review is not really a reflection on them. The vets all seem to be freelance which means you rarely see the same vat twice and you have to spend a lot of time re-explaining your animals condition, which you shouldn't have to do. Both my dogs were not scanned for their chips, when I first took them there (which is standard practice). first question asked is 'are they insured'.One of my dogs gets Gastroenteritis quite easy and quite prone to it, her last boute was no different, so i took her to Maven to get some anti sickness pills and possibly antibiotics, But the vet (Again somebody new) Was insisting that the dog was kept in for couple of days for observation and to do an ultrasound check for blockages, at a cost of close to 1000, with the 'is she insured' thrown in... I can understand this treatment if my dog was on its last legs but she was pretty normal, drinking ok by herself and just very farty, burping, high temp, watery diarrhoea all signs of Gastroenteritis which this young vet had no interest in even considering nor even trying some anti-sickness treatment first, He didn't even feel my dogs tummy for blockages so i felt this was all very over the top. So I went to another Vets, and what do you know.... Gastroenteritis! My dog made a speedy recovery. Its a real shame all our vets are being swallowed up and been made into large corporations.I'm in no doubt someone will reply to this review because this large Vets chain (with borrowings of 2017 135m) is so big they can afford to pay someone to look after their Social media.

Have been using Maven for some years, professional and welcoming. Highly recommended. Wonderful staff too.

Highly recommended by a family member and did not disappoint, excellent staff and puurrrfect handling of our shy kitten

Been buying advocate for my cats and never a problem, brought some last month and does seem to work, rang the vets and the receptionist told me that a few people have complained about it not working.... Chris turner refused to give me a refund or a complementary treatment.... totally shocked that they treat there customers this way
