A lovely place to stay. Marta does a brilliant job of looking after the guests and Mariana is a delightful hostess.
We stayed at this guest house for 4 weeks while having a new kitchen and bathroom fitted. On arrival we were greeted by Marta who showed us our spacious and clean room on the ground floor which had a microwave and sink, much needed for such a long stay. Each morning a good variety of breakfast dishes were on offer. There were always some interesting people to speak to from near and far who had frequented the guest house many times before. Both Mariana and Marta made us most welcome and Marta's scrambled eggs are to die for! We would highly recommend staying here - look no further!
Excellent BnB. Nice big rooms, nice and clean, friendly welcome. Cooked breakfast is extra and must be pre ordered, but the included continental breakfast is just fine.
We stayed at Mariana's for 10 days with my brother-in-law. We had a double room on the ground floor and he has a single room on the same floor. This place is fantastic and it's not only due to the beauty of the house but to the warmth and care that is shown by it's owner, Mariana and the "boss" Marta! We absolutely loved them both. They couldn't do enough for us! I will NEVER stay anywhere else when in England. The breakfasts were substantial (not even the "full English") and we had plenty of energy to tackle the day. There is fruit, cake, yogurt on the table and you can order eggs made any which way by Marta. One of the things we really enjoy when staying at a B&B is meeting other guests, that also was highlight of our trip. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is!!
The most beautiful house left standing in the whole area... everything else has been knocked down and replaced with flat blocks. This guest house is located in a residential area and it's only ten minutes walking distance to Sutton Station, which means that with some luck you might be able to catch a train and be at Victoria Station in 40 minutes.It's also 10/15 minutes walking distance to Sutton city centre. The house looks very nice, both inside and out and the rooms are comfortable.
