Strong urine smell at the female changing room .. which its quite unpleasant.. shower room and toilet look dirty...
Went to this place today, was with around 4 or 5 friends (all 15). Lifeguard was a total mug, yelled at us for jumping in the pool aswell as splashing. We stopped and he continued to watch us, further making our experience uncomfortable. One friend lightly splashed the other in response to being pulled under for a joke and we all got kicked out. One of the staff who looked like a manager was very understanding and tried to explain that we are kids and that we will play with eachother, however she was ignored and disrequarded by the general manager. Lifeguard was extremely rude and smirked at us as we were removed. Very very disappointed with this experience. Rude staff/ biased manager and all around toxic environment. Honestly wish i could give this review less stars.
Always cold in men's changing room - you have to be brave when you finish your swim! Nothing ever gets fixed even if you point out problems to staff e.g. markers dividing lanes. Pool itself usually a reasonable temperature. Not too busy weekday lunchtimes ok for lane swimming.
Feels dirty, equipment could do with a refresh and being maintained properly (lat pull down bar detached from pulley whilst using it). The redeeming features are that it's reasonably priced.
Cheam leisure centre offers a good variety of things to do including using the gym, swimming pool, sauna and or steam room as well as lots of different classes which you can book onto, via their app, seven days in advance from midnight. The classes that I attend are extremely popular and there is always a waitlist to attend.They offer far more than this such as squash and children's parties so go and take a look at their website for full details.Cheam leisure centre has a reasonable sized free car park for visitors to use. If you don't drive, the bus stops in front of the leisure centre which is also very handy. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
