We had a lovely cooked meal here, plentiful and tasty. Beer is from Fuller's so is always going to be good!A lovely friendly pub, highly recommended.
The local. Good beer. Many screens for sport. I personally love that they will show rugby alongside football.
Improving, compared with my last visit, but could be better. Theoretically this is the sort of pub I should like, small, very local, without music blaring out and sports on the TV. Apart from the bar prices which are higher than other local pubs, there is just something about this pub that isn't welcoming, but I don't know what it is.
Best pub within miles, friendly, cosy, great Owners and excellent bar staff with a disparate collection of regulars, as close as youll get to a proper local!Not sure what was going on for the poster who mentioned aggressive clientele, maybe footie was on, people tend to be tribal with that but not seen anything untoward in my twelve years of drinking here.
Little by name but big in atmosphere. First visit good range of bitter and football on television, plenty of drinkers leading to a great atmosphere.
