Store very clean and clear.. was able to find what I wanted and more
Somehow I never feel ''inspired' to buy here, not sure if it's this branch, or Debenhams in general. The shop that was here before, I could walk round when it came to present buying, gain inspiration, and get something. Here, whether it's like they don't want to have more adventure in what they stock and risk it not selling, but it's just boring. This seems reflected in the staff, who seem to be here to do their hours rather than drum up sales. If you are happy with that, then you'll enjoy it, personally, I try to visit here for as short a time as possible, and as a last resort.
Great place to get lovely Christmas gifts. Always found Debenhams Sutton has good variety of clothes, accessories and gifts all year round.
Fantastic range of products, I don't normally go to Debenhams so was surprised at the vastness of their ranges.I did find paying/checkouts a bit confusing, there doesn't seem to be a checkout area (maybe I'm blind) but instead checkouts posted at each "booth" if you will.Can I buy things from one area of the store and pay for it at another? Or do I need to purchase clothes at the clothes booth, then move to gifts and pay for them, then go elsewhere to pay again? I'd rather just grab what I need and pay at a single location!
Even though it was packed it was well laid out so you didn't feel you were crowded in everything is laid out in an easy walking around way although I found it a little bit difficult to find what I wanted straight away. The sale prices were really generous and the central escalators made it easy to go from floor to floor. Visual displays in this store really good.
