had a fabulous deal from the chaps at motozoom excellent van very happy

Great service, this is now our fourth van in 15 years from motozoom and have never been let down with quality of vehicle or customer service *****

Great Van, Great Service! Many Thanks

Motozoom has been trading in the cheam area since 1973 and still does so now with local businesses & tradesmen many are repeat customers,so when discovering and reading the negative review previously posted I think its only fair to add our comment to which seems to be his biased one sided opinion, firstly being that when we were alerted to a problem with the vehicle an appointment was made with the workshop for vehicle to brought in and left with them to diagnose, the probelm in question, the vehicle or owner never arrived and the appointment was missed, alas a further appointment was made and again vehicle failed to arrive, when aventually the vehicle did materlise it was without any prior notice or communication at 5.40pm in which one of the workshop technicians remained behind to help,on investigation he's diagnosis was that a dirty fuel filter could be causing the loss of power but would not be able to change it there and then as the time had now passed 6 oclock and no parts would be able to delivered so would therefore would have to be re-booked in.That was the last time we saw the vehicle or heard from the customer until many weeks later when he arrived in our office brandishing an invoice and demanding a cheque for over a thousand pounds,We explained if he would like to return the vehicle for us to inspect to see if the parts listed were in fact faulty as you can not "spend other peoples money without prior agreement between parties" as stated in "sales of goods act 1973" at which point he became very abusive towards ourselves and threatened that legal action was imminent within 7 days this happened in august 2013 no sign of any legal action has been forthcoming, his silence in speaks volumes.Motozoom has sold in excess of 10,000 vehicles since 1973 and has only attracted one negative comment.

Unfortunately my experience, following a recent purchase from Motozoom was poor and one I have come to regret. When I purchased a van from them recently, I was told that the vehicle had been thoroughly checked and was in good running condition. Days after I took ownership, the engine management light came on and the van started to have performance issues. I informed Motozoom of my experience and was asked to return the vehicle to them, so that they could have a look. After doing so, Motozoom told me that there was a problem with the fuel filter. They did not offer to rectify the problem and we were sent on our way. I then sent the van in to have a full service including a change to the fuel filter. The independent garage who did the service, inspected the vehicle on our behalf. They found several problems with the van including brakes that were 90% worn and a leak in the fuel system, among other faults. We were advised not to drive the van as it was unsafe to do so. Initially the cost of the repairs came to 1150.00. A copy of the report was taken to Motozoom in the hope that they would put things right. They suggested that I needed to take the van back to them so that they could have another look and verify the problems. I was happy to return the van to them however, as it could not be driven, would cost money as it would need to be towed. Motozoom did not seem interested in this issue and insisted that the van needed to be brought back to them at my cost. I asked if I were to do so, and they found the problems were valid, if they would repair them at their costs. The answer I got was a definite no. This meant that I would pay to have the van taken to them and would also have to pay for repairs. I was better off with the van being repaired through the independent garage, which I did. Once work was started, further problems were found and my repair bill is now close on 2000.00. Quite a lot if you think the purchase price was only 3695.00.To sum up, I found Motozoom friendly and helpful up to the point of purchase. Extensive problems with the van were uncovered despite Motozoom's assurance that the van had been fully checked and was in good running condition. When they were made aware and asked to help they seemed uninterested and did not commit to fix the problems at their cost. Will I ever deal with this company again? Absolutely not. 0/5
