I have used amai salon for their nails and hair services. I can't fault them at all. Danielle is a great front of house! Very helpful and friendly. I have had my hair done by Zoe who always gets my hair exactly as I want it and my nails get done by Jess and she always exceeds my expectations in her quality and creativeness. I can't recommend them enough!
Normally I would never write a formal review about salon but I wanted to share my recent experience. I have had my hair done many times here and whilst their hairdresser Felix is fantastic the management of Amai Salon lack any form of customer service or integrity. I was asked to pay upfront for a service which I have not had yet. I offered my credit card as a guarantee for my booking - like most reputable hairdressing salons do sometimes ask for - however I was demanded to pay a 40 deposit and given 1 hour notice to do so. The manner in which I was asked for this deposit and the way I was spoken to was extremely aggressive to say Im upset is an understatement. I would highly avoid this salon again as a result. Very unprofessional.
Nice staff. But, I went in there to get my hair curled and walked out 35 quid down with barely even wavy hair. I got home and did it myself.
