Recommend by Electrician as value for money and good quality store, recently moved to new house and ordered all electronic items online.Good selection and easy online purchase experience.However, I bought wrong consumer unit which was advised by electrician to change, Went to Sutton Toolstation and returned the unit at counter. Sales person checked the unit and handed us replacement with difference to pay, all good and left store as a happy customer.In the evening I got a call from Morden store saying consumer unit is missing some parts and I must return straight away either my profile will be damaged, I tried to explain that it was a error ordering and your sales person checked the unit when I returned, I dont have responsibility with what happened afterwards, the person on the phone was very rude and threatened me saying my profile will be blacked everywhere and I cant use any store again, I was stressful and traumatised.I checked with my electrician while the phone call was going and he confirmed we returned the unit full as it was a wrong product for my usage, I also reiterated that sales person at the store checked and then only exchanged my product. He hanged up the phone threatening to put negative mark on my profile.Toolstation must give customer training to their staff as it was a traumatic experience for me. They must improve their return procedures where staff must check product thoroughly before accepting. It is not customer fault if anything happens afterwards. In any case customer must not be threatened, these are basic customer skills which got to be addressed.
