Not baby friendly!I went to this cafe with my baby and was amazed to be told that they will not provide any hot water or containers to heat up baby bottles.I was told that this was because of an incident but, as the cafe is willing to serve coffee and tea in open cups which sit on tables and therefore likely to be just as dangerous coupled with the fact that they do not offer an alternative for parents/carers to use (eg a bottle warmer in a safe place) and the attitude of the staff who I dealt with, I can only conclude that they want to discourage mothers with very young children from using their facilities. This is a shame as it is close to the playground. On the upside, there are lovely and much more welcoming places in the village which is short walk away.
Ok but expensive. For the Starbucks generation who think a 3 coffee is a good thing
Nice, homely little place. Perfect for a cup of tea or coffee while in the park. A little pricey but very welcome. Bacon sarnie was nice.
